Just wondering
Just wondering
right now i have a 2.9 pulley with 42 lbs injectors and i was jw if i got 60 lbs. injectors and a 2.7 pulley if it would really make that big of a difference. my dad said he thinks its not safe enough to do this and i just wanted to know if i did, if it would even make that much of a difference. thanks
actually 42'ers are easier to tune I believe because the 60's aren't supported in the ECU by default
with a 2.7 I think you would be fine I think its when u get down to 2.5 or 2.6 you have to worry. I just find it odd though that you're running 2.9 and 42#ers and you're worrying about safety
if its that much of a worry, get a 2.8, 60#ers and a tune and be done with it...that is a proven safe setup.
