Oil Line Question

Just wondering what length oil lines you guys with turbos are running. I'm using the spot in the back of the block for the feed and tapping the girdle for the drain line. Just like to know the lengths.

thats a good question...ive wondered that myself...its hard to say because not many use the same spots you use...on the garrett kit buyers...best bet is to figure out which way your going to have everything positioned and then install the turbo and put the lines on and cut it...the drain can kink up or angle upwards so you gotta make sure youve got a semi close length.....what turbo are you using?

It's a T3/T04E turbo. Do you think 18" feed and 12" drain would do it? I'm buying through Vulcan Turbo.

lmao we have something in common...your not going to need alot or line for the feed...youl need more for the drain...id say at least 24" drain and maybe 18-24 feed...maybe not even that much...just buy them both a little long and then trim them down to what you need

Seeing that the oil feed location is right on the rear of the block i would say go with 24" to be safe.

hey contact me about mandrel pipe, i could probably beat atps prices.

yup 24" for the drain, it can be trimmed shorter if needed but 24" will definently be long enough

-3 feed must be good for max 100psi

-6 or larger (i run -10) return line.

i never help people so be happy, none the less don't forget that the center section oil feed must be with in 15deg of vertical to prevent oiling issues.

and if your smart enough to get a oil and water cooled center section you'll need a 3/4-3/4-5/8 "T" fitting to come out of the rear heater hose.

yep makes sense..just do your best to get the line as straight up and down as you possibly can and there shouldnt be any problems...

does anyone know where i can get a maf housing for the ic piping so i dont have to buy a complete intake?

i can get you guys the plates needed to keep our stock "GT" series maf if you want.

just weld it into the charge pipe, quite simple.

no one supports our maf style, its a **** maf, but my local fab shop does have these plates ready to ship if ya want.

there is another option out there, can you think of it?

you can talk to Jim at rebel, he had said he'd sell the piece from his kit that has that maf plate in it.
