Over boosting..

i wanna upgrade to a cobalt addiction stage 4 kit. its pushing 19 ~ 20 lbs of boost. what are somethings i can do to prep my engine for the extra boost and for me not to kill my intake manifold with the extra boost.

you really dont have to worry bout your intake manifold..you should be worried bout your #4 piston..but any cooling mods will be your bff...water meth...heat exchanger...dual pass..

You can blow your motor w/ a stock pulley it just depends on how you drive it. I would recommend doing back to back pulls w/o some type of water injection or cooling mods.

I have a 2.8 on my car right now with a cooling mod and it pulls like a SOB it still not fully tuned. Just be good to the car and she will be good to you!

you can either go dual pass with or without option "B", i wouldnt recommend the without option "B" part tho, or dual pass with Cobra H/E, or water/meth injection, or just add another H/E... theres a few options out there, dont be afraid to use that search option at the top right of the page!
