Pictures of AIS Trunk mount install (56K seeee ya)
Read the other forced induction threads. It will explain better than I can! Basically it injects a water/methanol mix into the air intake to cool the air b4 the supercharger. Denser air creates better combustion. 92 Octane runs like or as high as 110 Octane.
I have not had it tuned yet. I will be adding a header and smaller pulley in the next few weeks...need those mods on b4 tuning. Until then, I am running 100% water just for the air cooling. There is a noticable difference in how smooth the power comes on. I have it set to kick in at 10PSI.
Hi Larry,
Your installation looks perfect. Great job. Too many times is see people aren't using the rubber grommets and cut corners. I noticed your running pure water right now. This is fine for now. Be sure to switch to 50/50 when you have the car tuned to get better results.

Not sure what you mean by mild mods...mine is a daily driver with mods as well. Stage II, colder plugs, airbox mod, soon to have a few more things done. Anyway, after researching, Talking with Rodney, and a couple of Sport Car racers in the area...I decided it is safe. Basically, anything we can do to lower temps in the engine will not only give more performance, it will help to slow down heat related wear. With proper tuning of course. Disclaimer-I am not a mechanic so any advise is based solely on my opinion and should not be deemed fact

Thank you Rodney. I am waiting on a couple of bits and pieces to arrive b4 tuning. I will have it tuned with 50/50 and a small amount of fuel lube ( I know not needed, better safe than sorry). I will be contacting you in the next day or two for advise on final settings.

With so many different types of vehicles. The best way to know if you have the right vacuum line (manifold pressure) is to trace it back and make sure it is coming of the intake manifold.
