Yep. All of it minus a tune.

Going to resale the LS4 Throttle Body, 60# Injectors, stage II pulley and a couple of gauges.

Got an LSJ Throttle body, 42# Injectors and stage II pulley on the way.

Also need a 2.5 bar map sensor.

Do you mind posting the prices that you got the parts for? I'm doing a SC build as well but I'm just confused on what prices are good

I got this kit for $1540 shipped. Already bought a couple of parts before I saw this kit so I have some duplicate parts. Hence why I'm selling off a bunch of parts. Also have to pay for tune and 2.5 bar map sensor.

Just realized that the LSJ Intake Manifold was on my porch when I took this. So no... that picture does not have all the parts in it.

I was going to ask how you planned on doing this without the IM.

It smelled too bad to be inside... so said my gf.

Day 2:

Painted the K&N Intake, triple gauge pillar and wideband gauge trim:

Intake before:

Intake After One Coat:

Intake Finished:

Pillar and Gauge. Pillar was extremely shinny. Not anymore Middle gauge had silver trim. Now it's black:

This week after work, I plan on painting the supercharger, LSJ Throttle body (once it arrives), Fuse Box Cover and possibly my valve cover.

I'd suggest keeping the 60's and selling the 42's. It never hurts to have more capacity on the fuel side.

At this point, Vince should know how to get those 60's to idle nice and smooth so you wouldn't see any benefit by downgrading to the 42's.

the more and more I think about it, I think I'd get use to the touchy-ness of the LS4 after a while and I'd hope that Vince can tune for the 60's. I've got an email out to him.

From Vince:

"If you want my recommendation, stay away from the LS4 TB. It is WAY too big for any of the Ecotecs unless you’re spinning 8000 RPM at 30psi. It doesn’t help performance and screws up driveability. The LSJ TB is more than enough.

On the injectors, I would use the 42s. The problem with the 60s is they flow too much fuel and we can’t run them at a short enough pulsewidth to control fueling at idle and cruise, which can result in overfueling and lowered fuel economy. Plug fouling, and catalyst burn-out are a few things that can happen as a result. Some people don’t have trouble with 60s, though, so maybe you’ll be OK."

idk about that man. i would keep the 60's cuz you gonna want to change your pulley out to a 2.9 or something later down the road. so you rather keep them and not spend any more money to get the 60's again if you pulley down. cuz your doing what i did. i had 42's and stage two than wanted more boost so i drop to a 2.9 and 42's and i had max out my injectors so i had to buy 60's. just my 2 cents.

Yeah if he can't tune for 60's then that is pretty pathetic lmao i've never heard of problems like that with them.
Get bigger so you don't have to switch later.

I got better fuel economy supercharged with 60's than I do N/A with the stock LE5 injectors.

vince just tuned my turbo build with 80# injectors. he wont have a problem with the 60's.
why do u need a 2.5 bar map sensor? the computer cant read it so theres no point in purchasing one. im using the stock one on my build and there are no issues.

To see actual IAT's rather than just atmospheric IAT's..?

Been told it makes tuning much easier and safer as well.

Actually yes, the ECM can read it. It's still a 0-5V sensor, like the stock 1 bar MAP. You just have to rescale the values. And, like Springer said, you get to read true IAT's rather than atmospheric IAT's.

If Vince can't tune you for 60pph injectors, you need to find another tuner LMAO
