haah, well no one else fucked up ^_^
hah no jk.
bad news guys.
got 5 things i gotta do now. i did everything else alone today, change the spark plugs, insert the injectors, fasten them in. finished routing all the hoses.
then later on with scott and a friend chris at night installed the mrz lightweight crank shaft pulley, removed the windshield wiper reservoir, put in stock lsj airbox..since the cai hasn't showed up yet. and scratched our heads and was left with these things...
1. put the belt on all the pulleys...can't seem to figure that one out.
we've tried the usual normal ways its put on..no luck
2. rewire the throttle body
3. connect the power source to the alt...as i forgot to plug it in when i bolted in..and now everything is bolted in
4. move the maf sensor over
5. start the car.
updates later. i'm pooped.
yea ignore that, juan put that on originally...but i fixed that today when i was hooking up all the lines and things to the sc

ah so that's not too bad, it's almost done. Yeah the LSJ belt is a bitch easiest way is feed it down btwn the s/c pulley and tensioner pulley, take of shroud in pass wheel well pull belt to the crank pulley, and other side to alt. and work your way up. I got it down to about a 3 minute job I've changed em out so much.

you have the routing diagram? It's over the crank pulley, under the idler, over the tensioner, under the alternator, over the s/c and under the A/c. It's a bit of bitch to get it in between the frame and the pulley for the crank, but twist it and it's more than doable.

major problem..and i don't know what to do about it.
waiting for scott to get up so i can ask him, he's got a fever so im trying not to bug him for the last few things.
stock tb...
lsj tb...
i'm wondering...i have an 07 cobalt and it has 6 pins on it obviously
i'm not positive what year the lsj tb came off of but it has 8 pins ... do other lsj tb's have the 6 pins like i have on my stock tb?
any ideas anyone?
also i think i do need to use the lsj tb because of this...
as you can see that sensor...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS.....do i really need to connect these two together????
or do they actually have to be connected like it shows in those pics?

my friend juan, has the 8 prong tb harness/tb
so that tells me that my lsj one comes off an older one.
maybe i can find someone with an 07, (will check on that later on to confirm)
and see if i can just buy a new lsj one so i don't have to continue using my old stock one that is much much smaller.
update...everything is done but
putting belt on, moving maf over, filling radiators/he...and of course putting on lights and wiring them..bumper is already on. vids later
