T3 Turbo Flange Bolts

Hey guys been following cobaltss.net for years but for some od reason i never made a account. Welp first post so great time to start. Im turboswapped lsj t with a s256, My problem is the bolts on the flange even with lock tight and locking rings are magicly backing off and my gasket is destroying itself. Within 3-4,000 hard kms the exhaust leak is back once again. Any good fixes to this issue or anyone else have the same one? Thanks in advance!

i typically use studs in the flange and stover nuts. however last time i had a problem with the nuts coming loose while trying everything to keep them tight it turned out the turbo had problems.

did this problem just start happening or has it been going on since you did the swap?

Loctite will never generally work on the exhaust manifold. To hot.

Chances are the threads are cut in the looser side of the tolerance. Stage 8s work or try good quality metal lock nuts(not nylon)
