of course we cant rev as high as high as a jap car so by the time the turbo gets in its sweet spot we hav like 2000rpm left till redline

but a kick ass ride it would be...

but it give time, im just waiting till im done all of the srt plans, to really sit down and start thinking of the lsj. ill guarantee you this, that by next year around this time ill have our pnp ems for the cobalt ready for sale to the market. with a redline of 8k rpms on a built heat.

my srt now is redlining at 8100 and it feels really good.

Damn 8100 rpm? That's freakin high. What is that like 2000 rpms more? Your top speed must be like 180 because don't stage 1 srt4's reach 160?

Update the car is still running great and beating cars like a C5 zo6 and plenty of modded SRT4s. I drive the car to work every day with no problems. I did put in a better headgasket and head studs but that is about it. I am running a 3076rwg which is similar to a gt30r.

Umm Ray the 8k rpm on the stock LSJ is not a good idea, but I am sure you knew that.

That better be one well built head! Mine broke, and I was stock except for the intake! Still awaiting word on what they're going to do.... That would definately be awsome though!!!
