Twincharging the Balt!

Ooooooook here it is. I bought this book and they take an M62 and a T-76 and they TWINCHARGE a 2.0. This book tells how to do it front to back with all the VE tables, wiring, tuning, blah blah blah. I have only included the first 3 photos. Look in my gallery if you would like to see some more. PM me if you are SERIOUSLY interested and ill email you all the photos....

Now you need to use your engineering skills and make it work on your car. We are rooting for you.

Sick

Yea, I'm rooting for U as well. I've been watching the other thread and was just looking at Twin Charged vids online. Weird I how I found this when I can back to the other screen for a sec.

What about PPL that have the LNF?? Wouldn't sticking a SC on that thing be alot more simple as far as B 4 the tuning go's.

Sweet, where did you pick up that book. I'd love to read up more on regular tuning.

I think I will!! For those of you who read the other twincharged thread today, my buddy called me up today and let me know that one of his turbos on his 93 VR4 went bad, so naturally hes gonna get some huge aftermarket ones and he said he'll give me the good one thats leftover. Now after much thought, and realizing this is my daily driver, I am only going to attempt to make like 325 or something slightly below that. But i think if i were to go back with the stock pulley on the Heaton, leave the rich stage 2 tune on there, and get a fairly small turbo i can make 300+ reliably! What do you alll think?

Your def gonna need something to monitor all of this, put some long and hard thought about what you need and it can be done. The tuning is going to be a bitch I can tell you now...

Oh for sure man. Dude its crazy in this book how they do it. They supercharge the car and then tune it. THen they take the supercharger off and add the turbo then tune it again. Then they take the 2 maps and make 1. Its pretty easy/neat. I wish everyone could have this book. It has everything you need to learn how to tune a car. THis chapter 25 is just a project car at the back of the book. Most of the book is all about tuning. Its a great read...

Exclamation Missing info

I agree that it's a good book but, you might want to read it again.
They do a V-6 swap on an MR2, then twincharge it.

if the cobalt ss is your daily commuting car then i HIGHLY suggest not modding the car to this level because take it this way...something breaks down and you need more than a few days...like a week to fix the problem, thats a week off from work. or hell ignore that example cause it sucked worst that paris hiltons...this is YOUR daily driving car to work and other places and back and you want to put it down for mods...unless you have another car, i HIGH suggest NOT to twin charge it. you will most likely **** your engine up and render it useless and knowing how life hits people hard and fast, its going to be on a day where you need it most...the day your girl decides to have a 3 some with you...the most important day of YOUR life.

but hey it kinda makes you think why they dont come twin charged from the factory ;]

Twin-charged (RLF user) used a GT-3076 on his RL and it made 350hp without tuning or bigger injectors. There are a couple more on the RLForum that have done this too. Hopefully there will be some Hampton Roads owners who do this as well

Do you know if he used a series setup or a parallel setup? Meaning did he have the turbo going into the supercharger or did he just have them both going into the manifold?

He went in series, I believe he used a 3.5" pulley. I'll have to find the thread and verify though.

This was before the stage 2 tune was available. He had stock 34lb injectors although I think he used another set of injectors. Let me double check.
