will this intake manifold work?

Its for a 98-03 saab 9-5 turbo, i was curious if it would work on my lsj?

Haha... never bought one.. but sounds good for an intake mani.

hm... thats a 9-5 turbo... im not sure if thats the same as the 9-3 or not.... i know the 9-3 fits.

look at where that throttle body bolt holes are.. and then look at your throttle body

The 9-5 will not fit and the 9-3 intake is not a bolt-on. The 9-3 intake will bolt up to an LSJ head but the TB mount is REALLY small compared to any of the Cobalt engines. The 9-3 intake will not just bolt up to a 2.2 or 2.4 engine without rework.

i knew that it wasn't a bolt on, i just didn't know that the 9-5's didn't fit at all.

Right, the 9-5 bolt pattern doesn't line up at all.

and the 9-3 is a waste of time unless one is willing to cut open the TB mount and rework it. I have one sitting on the shelf I was going to "play" with but the cost is too high to get the heli-arc welding done to make it work.
