Yep never a bad choice. Performance Autowerks sells a very nice set of springs btw. ZZP also has a great set. Building the motor is never a bad option, but not needed. I was able to get a very coservative 412/425 on 93octane. With Meth/E you will be able to see some really big numbers

P5857 will make more power but the wr3 is a billet wheel dual ceramic ball bearing and water cooled as well which some variances of the 5857 are just oil cooled.. Turbo comes with everything you need to bolt it up.
I recommend a clutch, valve springs, good tuner, professional installation. If you really plan to push the turbo to its limits then a built motor would be recommended. If you are looking for the 450hp margin I recommend the wr2 over the wr2 as it will be better with a stock bottom end
Pm me if I can help you in anyway

In my opinion yes. It will spool faster and be more in its efficiency range where the wr3 would be at the low end of its efficiency range.
The wr2 type b is what I will be running on my personal car for a 400-420hp margin. The type has the larger compressor housing and will flow better then the stock k04 housing wr2

Yea I hear ya. I'm curious as to what this WR-3 will make once we put some real fuel to it (e47)...should be looking at numbers with that come Spring time when the weather turns and Winter Blend moves out haha
