Question ZZP turbo??

i was thinking about getting a STAGE 1 kit for my 2.4L cobalt (not SS) from ZZP and there is a couple of options and i was just wondering which ones are best??

1st: External wastegate dump or wastegate dumps into exhaust??
2nd: none or should i get the Bost reference feul pressure?

wat is the boost reference feul pressure option??

the wastegate will dump into the air, or it will be get rerouted into the exhaust... simple...

and yes, bov will work.

i mean it would get a little better flow from being in less piping but overall it just sounds cooler and helps eliminate boost creep

External dump holds boost better and is a lot more consistent. Usually good for a few hp because you're not introducing turbulence back into the exhaust.

Okay. Could I buy the stage 1 kit and get my own intercooler to have air to air? I really don't like how the liquid to air looks on their prototype car.

I don't plan to do any drag racing there is only 1/8th mile tracks in north dakota. It will still be my daily drive and i'm more worried about reliablilty

You can buy all the pc's from the kit if you want and do your own intercooler. You would have a lot of unessecary parts if you buy the stg1 kit and do your own intercooler. I would rec. the liquid-to-air it performs well.
