Cobalt Coupe big hit at L.A.'s HIN show
Hot Import Nights Los Angeles March 5th proved to be a big hit for the RK Sport Cobalt LS coupe.
With over 10,000+ in attendence the RK Sport Cobalt drew alot of attention from the attendee's who at first didn't know what the car was but liked the flowing lines of Chevy's latest Sport Compact. When told what they liked looking at was a "domestic" and indeed was Chevy's new Cobalt, the reaction was that they didn't care about "who" or "what" but that they liked the car and were glad to see that the manufacturer (Chevy) was listening and filling the much needed void in the domestic "tuner" market.
RK Sport's body kit, hood and spoiler package, RK Sport Dual exhaust along with SSBC's Big Brake kit tucked into the 19" Konig "Trouble" wheels wrapped in BFG rubber, Monarch Design graphics all installed on the 2005 Cobalt LS which is lowered 2" by Eibach Springs, was definately a site to behold under the darkness and show lights of the H.I.N. scene.

i disagree....its all riced up...dont put duals on a four cylinder....its foolish...also you should be proud to drive a chevy and not rip all the decals off....they prob dont want people to know its a ls...also the spoiler just doesnt seem to line up straight ...it looks cheap...ive really come to not like rk sport....if i were and when i am adding on to my car i want a brush guard and some rally stripes

As for removing the chevy emblems and decals I think it's done for several reasons the foremost being that RK Sports wants you to recognize the car as their car not a Chevy Cobalt so they removed the cobalt/chevy emblems.

I dont think its a shame of driving a chevy
i actually like the clean look of shaved badges on a car
the cobalt however will be keeping majority of the badging oddly enough tho
i will be taking all the badges off the trunk
but keeping the front one on the grill and moving the two side ones down to the base of the door

To clear things up this is a pre-production LS. It did not come with most of the badging that they do now. On the other hand what it did come with we took off to "clean" up the appearance.
Those of you who own or will own one of these are in good hands. This particular car has received numerous awards from local events clear up to GM.
Every week I take it to one of our local Chevy dealers (most of whom we already do business with) to show them what we have up our sleeve for the next project. The Cobalt has received more on site orders than any other car or truck that I have done this with!!
Let alone the mods, most all the dealers I have talked to can't wait to get their shipment of Cobalts!
This is truley going to be the next "hot" sport compact.
