Here is an exerpt.
"My gas isn't better for your car; it's just more expensive."
Oil companies spend lots of money explaining why their gas is better than the competition's. Chevron's gas, for example, is fortified with "Techron," and Amoco Ultimate is supposed to save the planet along with your engine. But today more than ever, one gallon of gas is as good as the next.
True, additives help to clean your engine, but what the companies don't tell you is that all gas does so. Since 1994 the government has required that detergents be added to all gasoline to help prevent fuel injectors from clogging. State and local regulators keep a close watch to make sure those standards are met; in Florida inspectors checked 45,000 samples last year to ensure the state's gas supply was up to snuff, and 99% of the time it was. "There's little difference between brand-name gas and any other," says AAA spokesperson Geoff Sundstrom.
What's more, your local Chevron station may sell gas refined by Shell or Exxon Mobil. Suppliers share pipelines, so they all use the same fuel. And the difference between the most expensive brand-name gas and the lowliest gallon of no-brand fuel? Often just a quart of detergent added to an 8,000-gallon tanker truck.

It is a matter of the atmospheric pressure versus the air being compressed in the supercharger housing that gives you your boost levels. For example...I did some tuning last night actually, when it was 95* my boost levels were they same as they always were, but there was a power decrease due to the density of the air that was outside. However, when it dropped down to 68* my boost levels were completely identical. My power levels on the other hand did go up and remain the same. Also, the A/F ratios remained constant.
I take the time to write an article without any B.S!! So I suggest you P.M me directly instead of making accusations that everything I wrote here is wrong.
What I wrote are all straight facts taken from professionals. And you Vandy0419 are?!?
I am not here to make it seem like I corrected you, I am simply writing in regards to what you wrote to give a better clarification to people that are coming in new and others on the forums so they don't get their information mixed up. That is what forums are for!!! To share information that people learn and pass it on.
If you have read any of my threads, you too will see I don't just put crap in my car, but I'm not afraid to put it to the limits, and I am more about figuring out what is most beneficial, like getting in contact with LFP and working with them on a large HE and ice box for LSJs.
vandy0419 you have to realise that writing "Reviews and How to install" take a lot of time and effort. I do it for you guy's to benefit. So its a bit normal for me to take a bit of offence to the things you said. But If I did come out too strong then I apologize for that.
I believe there is curtain ways to comment without offending but everybody is different. You probably didnt mean any harm in any way. So with that being said lets continue the thread on topic.
But please P.M me if any big changes need to be done. I will change it and give you the credit for it, I got no problem with that.
Have a good day

people seem to be explaining the same thing over and over again and no one really gets it so ill explain it in simpler form. He didnt dyno to the redline! so there was less power obviously. He dyno'd not only to a shorter number up the powerband but in hotter/ more humid conditions as well. If it was the same conditions in the third dyno as was in the second, and he dyno'd to the same number, 5891rpms or even the redline for that matter, (had he not cared about his motor) then the third dyno number would read well above the first two. correct me if im wrong (im sure someones gonna have a problem with this) peace

You my friend, are dead on!!
Hi Denny -
Very nice write up - and well done once again!
So, how much lubricating grease did you get on your camera
That is always a trouble spot when I am trying to work on the car and take pictures - keping the grime off my camera.
I am wanting to bump up the power on my SS/SC, and it's great to be able to watch you take yours through mods in a methodical and planned fashion.
In addition, it adds to the info to have some friendly discussions such have gone on in this thread - you gentlemen handled the discussion in a very professional way.
Looking forward to the next round of mods - and I'll be doing my CAI or airbox mods when I decide which way to go.
best regards -
mqqn

LOL!! Yes, there was a lot of grease on my camera, but I was able to clean the big mess after, camera looks brand new now.
The discussions in general doesn't always start off well, but what counts is that everybody at the end understands and talks to each other with respect.
I still have lots of mods coming so stay tuned, in the following week for
GOT BOOST! part II.
Good luck with your mods

It does make a big difference!! Wait until you go to a 2.6" pulley
BTW: Your sign is the best picture I have ever seen of a cobalt. That pic belongs in a frame.

With the 3" pulley you dont need anything. I got no slip at all.

so your saying i can just throw a 3 in. pulley on my supercharger in the ss and put a smaller belt on. without changing out the injectors or anything else and get more hp out of my car without detonation?????? cause i can pick up one of them pulleys pretty cheap and i like cheap hp. lol
