CobaltSS.net test drives the Cobalt COUPE !!!
02-01-05 - CobaltSS.net was the first community to present to you the Cobalt sedan when it first hit the dealerships. Now, we have done it again.
One of the first Cobalt coupes just arrived at Ohio’s largest Chevy dealer and as soon as we got the call, we were there to see it, feel it, drive it, and of course, take pictures for you.
We could have waited a couple of days to go down and drive it, but since the newly arrived Cobalt quickly gained interest, we decided it would be best to see it tonight.
Here are some of the pictures we took on the test drive.
More pictures and the full review will be added in the next couple of days.

So are the Cobalt coupes actually up for sale. I thought they were just putting them to dealers but still couldn't sell them. Of course I am hopefully completely wrong. And that looks like just a base model?

wow. im speechless..that is one hott ride. im 16, in 11th grade, and my dad says when i graduate, he will buy me a car. lol looks like im gonna be begging for a cobalt coupe or my fav, the SS. hehehe. but if i had to choose between a new cobalt and an old american muscle car, id go with the muscle.

Looks good. I would like to see a side profile of the car if you get the chance. I think if the coupe was just a little bit lowered it would look even better. Hard to say not seeing it in person.

With the new Cobalt SS Zinner, I am pretty sure that it meets all of the rule requirements to enter WRC or SCCA (although I don't know if SCCA is having a rally season this year)rally competitions.
I would LOVE chevy if they entered the WRC for 2006 with a Cobalt SS...probably will get killed not having AWD but who cares, Rally 'Balt!

I bought a 73 Nova while I was in high scholl although I don't know if it qualifies as muscle but the 67 Camaro I bought when I was 18 does!! Then there was the 67 Malibu, 70 Camaro and then 73 Camaro. Anyway, the Cobalt is my first attempt at a responsible car as I always owned and built muscle cars. Good luck....

Wow hubbies makes me gag! However, I hope the one with alloys doesnt have such a big gap, or I'll have to lower it before I turbo it. Thats icky! I still cant decide on blue or black! Both are still so sexy!

Guys, although the wheel gap looks bad, it is not any worst then on any other entry level models. Also the lack of light does not help in those pictures. I will get better pics during the daytime if they still have it there by Saturday.
