I am sure it is just a lure. You probably have to have a more than perfect credit score. Do you see how everyone is getting all excited and talking about upgrading and scrounging up money and selling there left testacle. Wait until the verry end of the model year right before the new ones come out on the lot. That is when the dealers will bend over backwards for you, and wait until the very last weekend of that month. They do have a quata. you will be so suprised how much they can and will do in this situation.

I went to one of the dealers here in SA and for me to get a SS/SC with LSD and recaros my monthly payment would go up 50-75bucks. Which I could afford cuz thats the only bill I have. I won't get the Stage2 kit until I'm use to driving a standard cuz if I do get it, it will be my first standard car.

got my husband a brand new sierra crewcab tonight with the 0% and the salesman was trying to convince me to get the g6, not sure I really like my cobalt, but if he can match what I'm paying now then screw it I'm going for the V6 G6.

so... the trade in value of my cobalt is actually more than i paid for it... i wonder how much it would change it if i did sixty and not seventy-two months....

so i did some quick math. yeah, even if i got the car for 20,000 even, my payment would go up higher than i'd like. since i got this car to save gas, i guess i'm stuck with "just" a 2.4 SS

I ordered mine while I was still deployed to Guam. They had none on the lot when I did that. Now since they sold me mine they got two on the lot. Black one and a yellow one both w/o the g85 package like oyu said. My SS/SC was the first one they sold out of the 05-06 model years. Try looking online at other dealerships inventories in the area and see if they'll do a dealer trade like JonyyB said. Sioux Falls or Denver has to have some.

I just bought mine on Friday!! The dealer already ran the paperwork on my loan through a local bank, so no 0% deal for me!

wow

You actually signed a loan at 16%? You are nuts.

Now I'm gonna have to go check on the price of a SS or SS/SC. I just bought mine last month for below invoice so maybe I can get what I paid out of it. Wish me luck.

I'm talkin to Queen City Motors, an they can get me one but I'm quite upside-down on my Trailblazer an credit is a lil rough. Might not be able to get one as of now, may have to wait till I get back to Jersey. Kinda sucks, cause there goes the 0% financin. Ah well, if it were meant to be It would come through.

Timing is everything Started seriously looking last week and then Monday one of the dealers i was talking to dropped me the info so that i knew. Well, the deposit is going in tonight and the car is being purchased on Saturday

72 months is a long time but without any interest being paid on it then it really doesn't matter. I could always pay it off quicker if there's no prepayment penalty.

Why would you do that anyway? It's free money! I just took possesion of my Cobalt SS/SC w/ this promo and if you think about it, instead of prepaying, put that money in a moneymarket fund of some sort and you can earn 4-5% (paypal earns 4.5 or so right now) while GM lends you the money for 0%!

72 months is silly w/ interest, but brillant w/ 0%!

Yea, so I hit up the 0% deal yesterday, and drove out with my new 06 Cobalt SS S/C Black. I only pay $309 a month for the 72 months and $192 a month for insurance and I am only 18. My mom did co-sign for me, but I make the payments of course. It was awesome timing cause I didnt even know about the 0% till I got to the lot.

I jumped on this too but was over 5 upside down on my old ride on a 17.5% rate. So I got my black SS/SC with the Perf package. Very nice ride. Still lowered my car payments and this one will be easy to pay down and off faster. I am looking forwrd to it.

Now to just tint the windows and possibly an Ipod adapter.

Signed all the papers on mine Friday, dealer is trading around to get mine in. Should be able to pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday I was told. If they're able to get the one I wanted it will be fully loaded, oh and I got GMS pricing.

we bought a 3rd cobalt on Monday, the G/f got a 06 SS/SC with every option and we ordered stage 2 with it. she's paying 380 a month total, the car itself was 362. I'm paying 430 a month for mine (we have exactly the same options and same purchase price, she has Red, I have blue) this was a great deal though. Thank you GM. To bad they didn't have a yellow one though.

OCP04 Did you also get a deal on it? or is it missing the G85 package?
