just got in from seeing the movie then going out for a bit. i must say i was pleasantly surprised with the movie, i did enjoy it. the driving is pretty damn good and the quality of the vehicles is pretty nice as well. the plot is above average with not so much cheeziness like the first two movies. coming from a 350Z, i enjoyed the 4 very fine examples of those vehicles throughout the movie.
i liked it and if you're on the fence about seeing it, go do it. just watch out because there are plenty of amped up assbags in their civics doing peelouts and revving the crap out of their motors on the way out. i went with a few guys from my car club and everyone was ogling at our cars on the way out, a couple kids shouted "you shoulda been in the movie!" LOL.

The fast & the furious tokyo drift
Part one was ok. Part two was more funny than the others. Part three was good. It was a brand new story. My only gripe is that the whole scenario climaxed too fast. The cameo of Vin Diesel at the end may be the beginnings of another sequel. Who knows. All the cars looked great.

I thought it was good, Acting in the beginning sucked but driving scenes were tight. Just thought it was funny sitting in the parking lot after the movie watching these kids be stupid thinking they can drift.

I thought it was the best of 3. The cars were nice...Anyone know what kind of car the orange and black one that the guy who let cowboy drive wrecked in was? I thought that was a HOT car. I have never heard so many fart cans in my life when we were leaving! I was in the mustang tonight so I couldn't help but show the idiots trying to drift in their front wheel drive hondas how a 360 is done in a rear wheel drive v8...he he he. Anyways I would definately say go see it.

The movie itself was ok. It wasn't the worst or the best, but the cars make it worth wild to watch. Watching the cars after the movie pulling out from the parking lot is even better. I even heard a caravan rev his engine,...

the orange car is an RX-7 with the Veilside Fortune widebody kit, Veilside Teardrop Titanium exhaust and Veilside Andrew rims, 19x9 and 19x12 with 315 series tires in the rear.

yea um there was only one skyline in this movie and it was the girls car that that jap did circles around. that blue and orange car the guy swaped engines with and put in the mustang was a Nissan Silvia, which is not a skyline, its more of a 200SX on steriods

well it was definitely better than the first 2...mostly because the story actually revovled around cars for once.
It still had some cheesy ricer moments in it though...
1) the old junkie car racing the viper at the beginning...on slicks goes off road and then smashes completely through a house yet keeps going. there were atleast 8 different spinouts that would have ended the race however they both kept going.
2) when they're drifting in the mountains with those other cars and all of a sudden it gets nice and peaceful then you here..."we used to come up here when we were kids..." You can't do that in the middle of drifting around a damn mountain!
3) the skyline engine in the mustang was just plain wrong. for one, they made it seem like a bolt in swap. the plugs are bad? no ****! no tuning, just drop in and go...I know it was a movie but that was hilarious. The FMIC, the fart can, and the Rays wheels on that Mustang were just plain wrong.
4) the "i know a way we can end this...lets race" line was just classic.
5) oh and also Bow Wow instantly appearing in a sea of asians was also pretty damn funny
the movie was definitely an improvement but it wouldn't be F&F without those classic ricer moments.

it was deffinetly an improvement from the other two movies. Given that there were more race scenes. But tlike one guy said on this thread it wouldn't be f&f without ricer scenes. Oh and vin desiels cameo appearance was a classic.. another famous line that he said, but not as good as his first famous line.
