...i liked it, the story line was a little boring, and the lead guy over did the southern accent. The only thing i have to say is there wasnt enough racing, i was expecting alot more outta this as far as # of races go but the driving was phanominal(sp), except the first time he tried to drift in the garage. That poor poor car... lol. Overal i say 3.25 out 5

I thought that the movie was better than the first two by far.

If you like to watch drifting, hot girls, and great crash scenes than this is the movie for you.

The change of the cast of charactors was good as well i thought they were all played out well I give this movie a 1.5 thumb rating

Front wheel drive cars can not drift! What, are they going to do it backwards? It still wouldn't work correctly, unless you could steer with the rear wheels and you would be drifting really slow.

man all you have to do is use the e-brake to lose back wheel traction! You need to read up on it if you dont believe me. Go to sportcompactonly.com

and i have drifted in my cobalt..not that great yet but i did

The good part about what was CG, is that those scenes could actually be done in real life, they were not in the movie, for nicer angles, and obviously some parts where to dangerous for a film.

Was also funny to see two honda kids try to show off in the parking lot on the way out, but they couldn't even cut the tires loose in first gear.. I just shook my head.

The one inch away from the wall shots up and down the parking garage ramps were actaully REAL. Rhys Millen (one of the best/greatest drivers in the world!) did the stunt and nailed it on the first try. I was reading in Import Tuner/Modified Magazine,(one of those two mags im not sure anymore) that they were supposed to CG a lot of it but the drivers like Rhys Millen, Samuel Hubinette, and Daijiro Yoshihara were so good it saved them a ton of money and thats why it became so real. The driving was insane.

Lol most of the movie was shot in LA, there are barely any scenes in Tokyo. I was reading that they imported a few hundred Japanese cars for the movie and just placed htem in certain parts of LA and slapped up tons of Japanese signs. A few major scenes were shot there but the majority was in LA. I read that in the Import Tuner/Modified Magazine article too.

It was better than the first two, which isn't saying much. Overall I enjoyed it though, even though a more than a few parts were laughable.

saw first, saw part of second movie (left during the middle of it and got refund cuz hated it), saw third one... UGG. Save your dough!

First one second one third was definitely

What if I created a movie with geo metro's and had old people driving? I think it'd be a little more amusing myself... "the slow and the cautious", a following movie... "too slow, too cautious" and a third one... "handicap drift"

I enjoyed this movie...Dunno if this is true or if anyones siad but i was told that when they replaced the engine in the mustang at the end that the car was to slow to be showed and they used a different engine than the story actually says, but besides that I enjoyed it much more than the other movies although i almost cried when the monte carlo flipped..Would rather it be ok and that viper destroyed

Good movie. I loved the stunts in it and racing scenes especially since it appears that they are done by real drivers. The story line was decent for being the 3rd installment and ending left it open or could be left as is. Vin being there at the end even though I knew it was coming was the best part. I guess I like the original characters played by Vin and Walker better.

However, for some reason it didn't get me all excited like the first two and I didn't 'connect' with the lead character. The one character I did really like died.....Also the whole engine swap into the mustang left a bad taste along with how quickly they fixed it up.*Yes I know its only a movie* However the Mustang looked awesome, and I loved Hans RX7!

Overall I did like it enough to buy the DVD so I could have all 3 movies. Any rumors on a 4th installment? How about some back storis about Diesel's character Toretto with Hahn or maybe moving forward from the ending of this movie. That would be cool.

opend mouth insert foot.

there are two 351ci motors that ford put out. I know this cause I've owned both. the cleavland and the windsor. the windsor was a better motor for overhauling so that's probably how the one you saw made it to 430

Gee I work in auto parts and ive never heard of a 430 windsor...hmmm maybe thats because ford didnt make a production 430....possibly a crate motor, but the only thing even close would be the cobra jet motors....or a 351 stroker or bored out to hell and back...

I just grabbed it on DVD after refusing to watch it for a long time since I'm a fan of the 1st and 2nd one, I never thought the 3rd could matchup. But it was worth it by far. Not spectacular but worth the money. I know he's gay but it was deffinently worth the moment to see good ol' Dom a.k.a. Vin Diesel back in the series. Also I bet ford guys are flippin out bout that engine swap. Hey just think, its probably one of the fastest mustangs with double the gas mileage... anyways quit reading this and go watch it for yourself!

I liked it, and if the 4th compares to this one I believe it will be pretty good. I thought the second was pretty bad. That would have to be the best mustang i have ever seen, especially considering it wasn't ford powered..lol..

alot of the drifting in the movie was done by professional drifters like rhys millen and a few other guys that made me happy.
