We used all the factory pieces with fiberglass overlays and paint
We only have one little ratttle when the stereo is bumpin - the sunroof door rattles if
it is open more than 1/2 way other than that the car is pretty quiet.
You can not just sand the texture off in most cases it causes the paint to peel

sneaky is correct - the auto trans does work wonderfully with the turbo
zinner is also correct - the turbo is near the driver rear wheel and responds a
well or better than a standard mount turbo.
At the GM Bash I let one of the GM guys drive the car and he said that he was
pleasantly surprised by the performance and the response. He said it was as repsonsive
or more so than the SAAB he had been driving.
Very nice work. I'm not a big fan of really flashy cars, but I can appreciate the work that went into it. I like seeing the use of a remote turbo. Very sleeper like.
Any chance you will producing the 3 pod A-pillar.

The colors on the Cobalt are not your standard colors
They are Auto Air Colors (Water Base)
The yellow is Irridescent Yellow
The White is white with Hot Rod Sparkle over it - Looks like crushed glass
no blues or pinks just white sparkle - it is awesome. You have to see
it in the sunlight and in person to really appreciate the colors.
The graphics are Charcoal Met. matching the wheels and CF colors

to call and ask the statis of the pod
for anyone that is interested you can sand down and prime then paint plastic.
as long as you use the right materials and addehision promoter with flex agent, i have done over 20 vehicles with this procedure and i have never had any cracks, bubbles and peels.
Street's Cobalt looks very nice
i love the remote turbo makes twin charging even easier hehe

I did not want to tell people to sand and paint :
because without some understanding of the process needed, they can create alot of problems for themselves.
We have also done many cars that way,
and we have fixed many for people because they have made a mess of their interior.
We have also seen people have to buy new pieces because they ruined what they have.
As for the PILLAR POD is our car - I spoke with Auto Meter a few moments ago and they are looking into the pod set up. But because some of the Cobalts come out with pillar air bags they are not sure what they are doing yet. They are looking at other options for mounting also.

I'll tell you what. I haven't seen the vehicle first hand, I did just watch a show my DVR recorded (thank god for recommended shows to record). Anyway, I just watched t a show called AutomotiveVision.TV and it had this car on there (along with 2 other GM products). It gave some sweet shots of the interior, under the hood and the turbo. Man, I have to say this is a SWEET ride. I am going to try and find a way to record it to DVD and then onto the net. The show interviewed the owner of Street-Graffiti and a rep from STS.
All I can say is I am impressed. Thats a great car, please pass that on Chris.

We have not seen the Auto TV show yet. They are suppose to send us a DVD copy of it. Let you know more when I hear from them.
The Hot Rod Sparkle White looks pretty good over the factory yellow - we tested it before we painted the whole car. It is not quite as brite obviously as the irredescent yellow but it is nice.
I will see if we can get some picts for you to see with the sparkle over the factory color. We can sell the paint to any of you who would like to use it.

I'm in the process of trying to find a DVD recorder so I can get things off my DVR. I'd be glad to send you a copy when I get one. It should be relatively soon. I am going to try and post it to the net. I might need some more software to do that, we'll see.
No thanks needed. The products speak for themselves.
