this thread seriously has me thinking about getting mine repainted white

 

Let us 2.4's have something exclusive! That's the main reason I chose white when I ordered my 2.4.......b/c the SS/SC's weren't offered that color and it sets my 2.4 apart from the 2.0 SS/SC crowd.

Um, dead serious. Why's that so hard to comprehend? I wanted the 2.4SS from the get go, but I didn't want it in a color that people would confuse with an SS/SC. Seeing as the SS/SC isn't available in white, I chose that to be different and to avoid confusion with my car and SS/SC's, yet people who are unfamiliar with Cobalts see the SS and always ask me if its supercharged, so my whole reasoning was quickly extinguished.

All I'm saying is I like the fact that the 2.4SS has its own exclusive color. I know 2.2's can get it too, but I'm saying its exclusive among SS wearing 'balts. I can see why SS/SC guys want white and all, but its cool that us 2.4 guys have something kinda "exclusive" so to speak. Just like the EVO MR guys have gunmetal whereas regular EVO guys don't, and WRX haves have that bright red color, whereas STIs don't.

i think it's kind of pointless. GM won't listen after they discontinued it, although i wish they had made a white ss/sc so bad...recaro seats, white sided carbon fiber center spoiler ohhh skeettttt......
they better make the new cobalts in white..shexy shexy.

 

Dude,they are making the new Cobalt turbo in white. Thanks partially to me and the .net petition.

 

start telling the 2.4 white ss to supercharged it...or buy a 2.4 and boost it...agree white is nice but prob hell to keep it clean...I have rally yellow ...it seems to get dirty in 1-2 days after i washed it

 

I Cant fkin wait for the SS/TC!!!! Im 99.9% sure im going to get one in white when they come out!

 

I really wish mine was white... If it ever gets a paint job it's gonna be white.

 

you guys do notice this thread started over 3years ago with the SC first came out... discussing now is a moot point since the TC balt will be available in white.
