Cobalt SSSC mileage!

So.. I drove on a family trip the other day.. and drove the whole way highway, 360 miles round trip... and I was getting 39.4 at the end of it. I was going 65-70 the whole way. After the trip, I calculated my Mpg by myself, and i got 39.2...

For what this car is.. it get's very good mileage.. That is, if you keep out of it.

Do you guys get that?

Yeah when I had to drive up to Ohio I was getting 37-39 going 75 the whole way. As long as you don't get on it it gets really good gas mileage lol.

Stock '05 LSJ 29-31 mpg. Long, flat stretch of highway between two ******* mountain ranges that you have to go over to do anything fun around here. 4,000ft elevation and I too have an airbox mod because the damn screws holding the splash guard broke and that bitch scrapes every time I go over a crack. Helps direct air into my intake though.

I average 27 for my daily commute, half city half highway. But I've gotten 41 on a good interstate run at 75ish. Only CAI, 3in exhaust, and a good tune.

I think the lsj's are the only cars that get better gas mileage as you make it faster. Out of annnnnnny car that people mod whether it's a VW or civic srt4... They all just get worse gas mileage as they mod up. Than the underdog LSJ's jus get better and better. If not you exceed at least everyone else you know. My buddy mikes tvs runs 12.8's all day. Gets 31mpg. What other 4 cyl does that? Please someone lmk lol

It's funny you say that because I found out my lsj gets better mileage than my grandma's Mazda 2...and It's brand new.
