**** I"m at $4.15 a gallon by me, I detuned the car, run 89 octane, lowered my cruising speed by 5mph and accelerate a bit more lightly. brought my avg mpg from 28.3 to 30.8 so far (only 2 weeks avg started since january). I also commute 150 miles a day and sit in manhattan traffic.

old saying goes.. you have to pay to play.

@madbard... its very hard to hold off the gas when you make alot of power. Boost is like a drug. .its addictive.

I h8 j00. I'm relegated to city only driving. 16mpg. Ever so slowly it's creeping up. When I first started driving to work it was 12mpg. I only had one highway tank of gas, that was with 3 passengers and driving it like a raped ape and I got just under 20mpg.

I average between 28.8 and 30.5 mpg on a very regular basis in a Trifecta tuned SS/TC. Gas was $3.93/gal yesterday morning when I filled up (93 octane).

I drive 75-100 miles/day. This is about 10% "city", 90% highway, usually travelling at speeds between 60 on the low end and 75-80 on the high end. As you can tell, these are not "fun" miles based on my average MPG. I'm regularly seeing 350+ miles out of one tank. I have noticed that my car will do a consistent high 28mpg with the cruise set between 75-78mph, which I'm OK with.

I do, however, make sure I do one full boost pull per day, just to ease the pain, just a little bit!

Have you reset your gas mileage thru the dic? If not its an average of all the miles driven.

08 SS/TC with GMS1, progressive springs, stock everything else I average 29.5mpg running 92-93 octane. I drive a 60 mile daily commute round-trip, about 25 miles worth is 55+ bypass. I use cruise a lot, 5th gear with foot off the gas, 3k shift points as well.

Just paid 3.99 for 93 octane... Definitely need to get the exhaust leak taken care of. Between being an auto and having an exhaust leak my gas mileage is 23.1mpg avg. OUCH! And thats with a decent amount of highway and a slightly aggressive driving style. But even babying it I wont go over 24.5 right now....
