Alright so I have 3" vibrant catback and am installing CA header soon. My exhaust is pretty loud now and once I put my header on it 's really going to be loud. Just wondering if anyone had some good suggestions for quieting down exhaust some without restricting flow much. I just don't want to give the cops another reason to pull me over seeing in IL your exhaust isn't supposed to be any louder than when it comes from manufacturer.

should have went with the zzp exhaust setup. sounds stock and is 3"

 

Put a flow through magnaflow muffler under the car before the normal muffler.

Any other suggestions? how's ZZP's whisper resonator ?

 

my zzp whisper broke in 2 at the welds and they wouldn't warranty it. I have a 3" exhaust with a magnaflow 36" long 6" diameter resonator and it quiets it down a ton, I love it.

 

Yeah I heard alot of peoples zzp whisper's were breaking (why I didn't order 1) Maybe I'll try the Magnaflow where did ya pick yours up at? I have my header sitting her but don't want to put it on until i can quiet it down some.
