LNF Fuel Milage

I am wondering what people are getting for millage on there dic / 100km. I live in Canada. And my car is an 09 SS/TC with GMS1. According to my dic I am seeing about 8.5L/100km right now. Over the winter it was up around 9.8L-10.1L/100km. But I reset it a few weeks ago when the weather got a bit warmer and nicer. And it seems like it is going to settle around 8.5L-8.8L/100km range. I was wondering what other LNF's are seeing ? I will usually get about 500km to a tank of supreme if I drive fairly easy and don't go wot at all.

My average is 9.2, could be better but I don't do the speed limit and I lay on the gas a lot.

Im at 10.* / 100 at the moment, only 94 octane, with meth spraying @ 10psi+, with 445 gears. ~23MPG. LMAO lately though its sucking down much faster, and only going to get worse once i get retuned for more meth and to lose my boost ramp tune.

It seems to have settled at about 8.5L-8.6L/100km. Which is 27.5-27.7 MPG. Does that seem about right ?

I am on a no boost diet for the last couple days and I'm getting 32.5 this week to work and back. 40 mile round trip daily.

Winter is usually 25 mpg and summer is usually 27-28 mpg.

Before my intake valves were cleaned I saw 23mpg in the winter.

Well I saw several people report that it improved gas mileage and didn't quite believe it.

But it sure seems to be a lot better.

I wonder why it actually helps with fuel mileage ? Did you notice any difference in performance at all ? Did the car seem to gain any power back and or pull any harder? Or just an increase in fuel mileage.

Between cleaning the throttle body, cleaning the intake side of the head and cleaning the valves, you should see a decent increase in airlow.

I really wish I hide dynoed before and after. It's noticeable but not crazy

I am now seeing 7.0L-7.4L/100km. ( 32.5 mpg approx ). That is way better then the 8.5Lish/100km. ( 27 mpg ) . Just from cleaning my intake valves.

I wonder if anyone has done a road trip tune. At 60-70mph the LNF Cobalt can get mid 30s if you hypermill a bit.

I usually average around 8-9(more lower 9's) If I'm being super duper careful I can get mid high 5's. But yeah it's tough to get decent mileage in this car for....obvious reasons...God with that muffler delete and Intake it's just too much fun to wring out!

Only mod is K&N Typhoon

I used to get 30-31 MPG normally. 28 MPG if I did 4-5 rolling burnouts a day driving to and from work.

Since I had my valves cleaned last week I'm down to 8.2-8.3 L/100KM or about 27.7-27.9 MPG.

I do mostly in town and country road driving and I get about 22 mpg if I stay outta boost as much as I can. And for anyone asking about cleaning valves, when I did mine, I just used brake cleaner, small wire brushes, a set of picks, and a shop vac and mine came out just as well as any of these that have spent money on special cleaners and blasters. I just filled up the closed ports with brake clean, let it soak for a few minutes, vacuum it out and then use the picks and brushes to scrape all the gunk out. Just kept doing that til everything was clean. I run meth and I'm kinda curious as to how well it helps keep the valves clean

I think with some adjustments to the midrange midload cam overlap we could bump you into 24-26mpg on e85
