I would suggest getting either a 2.9 pulley or if you want to stay with the 2.8 get 60lbs injectors. Your 42's wont like the 2.8.

I think what he is asking is what mod other than exhaust should he do next. Well I would suggest, either the dual pass option b, or a bigger heat exchanger, matter or fact do both!

a bigger heat exchanger wont net you any gains it will just help you cool, unless you are at a 2.6 pulley or even a 2.7 pulley it wont be beneficial to you....

I would say get a exhaust, better tune,

no factory exhaust is 2.5 and tapers down close to the rear axle to 2.25 making it really restrictive... If i were you i would invest in a corsa since that is a true 2.5 exhaust all the way.... or even get the gmpp which is just like the stock one but not as restrictive and alot better sounding

corsa exhaust, and put a 2.9 with a better tune and youll be pushing 260

if ur wanting 260 hp the 2.9 wont be pushing it... It will not cause a problem or bad idles, or your car to shut down so i would just do that if you feel better you can just change the pulley when you go into the dealer but no they wont suspect anything...You wont even have to change your tune to put on the 2.9 that is considering you have the stage 2 tune... but if you want the most out of your car get the tune!!!!

Now i would also invest in a better CAI as in the 3 inch not jbp but the other one that their selling looks like the best intake on the market right now alot better than K&N, airbox mod, and all the other ones

You are talking about a totally different stage 2 then what I was thinking about. I thought that you were taking about the GM stage 2. What size injectors come with that kit?

if your mistaken....were talking about the GM canned stage 2 tune with the 42lb injectors with the 3.1 pulley pushing 15lbs of boost...

u take the 2.9 pulley on the warrantied tune and youll be straight

I am sorry I misread his post. 2fastss is correct but if you want to take full advantage of the 2.9 you must be tuned for it. Dealerships will not know that you are tuned if you get tuned. The only why that they know something is different is if the pulley looks different.

2.9 doesn't need 60's but it also wont hurt. If you get 60's you will need a tune.
