Well I finally hooked up the nitrous today and got some pictures of the finished product under the hood if anyone cares to check it out and get some ideas. Here they are...

the bottle mounted in the trunk:

the arming switch with built in LED:

The fuel line t'd off on the Shrader valve:

How hard would you rate this for someone who's still new to modding and how much did ya pay?

I'm really confused about nitrous. Is a 50shot safe on the stage II tune, or will you need a retune if you wanna use it.

My friend did most of the work and he has installed 50+ kits according to him so he knew what he was doing but i would recommend at least someone who has done it before guide you threw it at least. He charged me 200 but he needs some money and its better than 500 at a performance shop.

This is very easy, basic hand tools and some extra time. And I think ZEX goes for $500....roughly.

Would any shot of NOS be safe w/o a turbo or supercharger? And what is a purge kit? Sorry, I don't mean to thread jack but I'm trying to find my next mod for my and this looks pretty simple.

Ah ok, a local guy has a Stage 3 PCM with 75 (I belive) shot and purges into his intercooler.

Yes, dry for N/A. And a purge kit basically fills the lines and gives a pretty show of cold gasses.

No problem. Your safe up to a 75 shot without tuning and internals. And if you get a kit try to stick with a WOT activator.

Wide Open Throttle, so you can't dump the Nitrous with very little air/fuel, could be very bad, so the mini computer tells it when your car is WOT and opens the spray up. Safer for you.....much much safer.

Ahhh, alright. One last question. It won't matter if it's an automatic or manual transmission will it?
