0% financing avail on SS in canada

I got a news paper ad today that was offering 0% financing on 36 month purchase of a cobalt ss. Called the dealer that I have been taking to for the past 2 months about the cobalt and they said it was available.

$27125 for an SS/SC
1.07 % (if you buy in AB)

=29023
or $31194 in Ontario

29023/36= $806 / mth to own it!!
31194/36 = $866.50

Now if it was 0 over 48 or 60 it would be much better.

are you saying that they wont do financing over more than 3 years?

cause that would be insane for a 27,000 car!

and i will definately not be buying it

Hopefully they are offering 0% financing over 3years but offer another rate after to make a longer term

In order to take advantage of the 0% you have to use 36 months, otherwise no 0%.

As a response to Dman, the only thing I can't get used to is the difference in prices across the border. Of course, I could go on all day as to WHY that is. We all know that, but oh well if it bothered me that much i could always buy one from the U.S. if I used the right channels. Price or not, WHERE IS MY FREAKIN' SS?!

^^^ Yep! ^^^

The Cobalt SS is about 3k CHEAPER then an SRT-4 here.

That's nice that 0% is already out. If you want 0% over 48mos or 60 mos you would probably have to wait until August or even September (depends on how it's selling) for an '05 model. But the savings are probably worth it.

If 0% for 60 comes out, in Canada you would be paying less then $500/month to own, without a downpayment.
