07 Headlights

A while back I was in a wreck and had my right front headlight replaced. I just now noticed that it has a amber cover over the turn signal were as my factory left side light does not. Is the part number for the 07 lights different? It looks like I can just open the headlight up and take the cover off. Should I go ahead and have the repair shop replace it or just save the hassel open up the head light and take the cover off. I searched and couldnt find anything BTW

yeah they are different lights

a guy up here had that happen and it took the dealer forever to get it right

the repair shop should take responsibility

YEA, i HAVE AN 07... the 07's don't have the Orange day times like the 05's and 06's. The day time's on the 07's are the reg lights.

heheh... that's a pretty good one...

just go tell the dealer/shop to order you a new one for the other side... as the two don't match.

heck... bite the bullet and go order some projectors.

The 07 SS/SC were the ones that got the different lights. My 07 SS has the regular lights with the amber part in them. They ordered you a set for a reg SS not an SC/SS. Easy mix up to make but you need to get it fixed so people stop pointing and laughing.

actually 05-06 had the amber peice in the lights. The 07 that I have seen do not. I traided my painted 06 lights which had them for OEM 07 that did not.

Here ya go....back when my car was new and still stock, note the amber lens and my car is an 07 but just a plain SS.

And yes the date stamp is wrong!
