Im just wondering if they are planning to release this car halfway through 2008. I mean hell the HHR was more of a "for sure" Turbo that the cobalt was and it isnt even out yet. I mean look at the chevy website. This has me scratching my head ya know?

Heck I dont even know why we are pondering this. My cousin is an ecotec designer. Hell, he got me the discount on the car in the first place. I didnt realize there was such a hype about all thsi turbo stuff, hang on lemme make a phone call for you guys...

u think theres a reason that there are a lot of turbo cars and not supercharged cars???

give me my turbo damn it..

and 2008.5 means they dont release it late 2007 like the rest of the 2008 models.. they release it early to mid 2008..

Yeah man.

And this is no way bashing superchargers but turbochargers have been on MANY stock cars and not even performance oriented cars, everyday vehicles and work very well.

+1 rep btw

I think that means somwhere around 2008 January that the car will show up in dealerships. Second half of 08 which starts in Jan of 08 since 08 model year starts in Aug- Sept 07

Indeed he does, you'd think if it were going to happen--they'd be pouring some cash into advertising

Just like the new Camaro coming out...how long have people been talking about that? Or the new Skyline coming out and that's in ******* Japan! I think even the new style mustangs were being talked about in magazines 2 years before it came out...

You'd think if this car was coming out to fight the SRT4. They would have **** all over car mags and on television. Have you seen one ounce of it? Nada

no doubt--that's exactly what comes to mind...not to mention the Cobalt SS/SC 'hype' commercials where they were playing kickball with Corvettes--you'd think they'd have some kind of gimmick by now
