+100 for R1 Concepts

So as the story goes I ordered a full set of Premuim rotors and hawk pads for my SS/TC, on the 18th. they claimed to have them shipped on monday or tuesday... Well I never got a Email confirmation by the 23rd, SO i called and they nicely explained that they were making them, BUT they said they could have them out and to me by friday or saturday. Well true to their word they were here on saturday!!
HOWEVER,
The Box was broken open and one of the front rotors were missing!!! So I called USPS and they were no help. So i figured it wasn't their fault but I would see if R1 would work something out with me. It took a whopping 5 min on the phone and they OFFERED to ship out the correct replacement Immedately!! How cool is that!! So hopefully I'll have one here by the end of this week and my new brakes will be ready to go.

Awesome! I was debating on going with them for a full 4 wheel brake job, I think you might have just swayed my vote.

Well I haven't seen a write up on a how to with brakes, so I'm going to take a bunch of pictures and post my first attempt when the last rotor gets here.

If it's your first time ... Take your time! Brakes are not hard, but at the same time you don't want to have something go wrong!

Awesome! It's so easy for vendors to do the right thing (As they did here) It's nice to see!

Let us know how the rotors work out!

The only complaints I have is the times I've tried to call in to order my brakes (had to order over the phone bc I was given a quote number to use through their online chat), I had to call 4/5 times to get through to someone, I would sit in the damn phone Queue for 10 minutes each time saying I am 2nd in line, then when I got to number 1 it would just direct me to a voicemail and I'd rather just sit there on the phone every time and wait for someone to answer rather than get directed to a voicmail. lol.

That is my ONLY complaint though, they hooked me up with an entire set of slotted rotors and ceramic pads with installing kits for $275 shipped and they will be here monday!

R1 is awesome...used them on all my cars.....they just recently allowed me to alternate ship rotors I needed badly to my tdy location and gave me a military discount. Simply put they kick ass.
