Ok, so this was what I've expected. Buy the 05' with limited options and then find out that the 06' has a ton of other options. Well, I hope hp doesn't go down too!!!

Still waiting for my 05 victory red with black on black interior and sunroof!!!!!

p.s. I see them offering recaro's on the 06' model too!!!

This website has a picture of a Majestic Amethyst Corvette near the bottom of the page. Looks like a medium purple.

No its not....The Equinox has this color in the sun it turns violet it is a unique color you must see it in person..

 

LAZER Blue is much much nicer.......

iv never seen pci of the 2.4 ss sedan does anyoen ahve pics r anything about the 2.4 SS jsut wana see hwo they made it look

 

Equinox with Lazer Blue is VERY nice, the shifting qualities of the paint are subtle but noticeable, I've seen the amethyst too (not on cobalt) its nice but not my taste (it also shifts colours @ different angles)

 

No more arrival blue metallic is good for us ss/sc arrival blue owners who will have a unique color :-)

 

Well I cant say I have one for sure ... its only on order but If I do get an 05'... regardless of color we got our hands on something special... this is a very limited car.

 

Makes my LS Sedan Rarer too seeing as they won't be making our color anymore. Will also mean we'll have to pay more for repaints and touch ups though

 

Go buy a quart of your color now jsut in case something happens later...

Thanks saunders, the laser blue does look pretty good. I like to see things in person though so this may warrant a trip to the dealer. As long as other model cars have the colors that should do fine.

 

lol sorry guys but arrival blue metallic and unique dose not fit together really, did you ever stop and see how many people are buying the arrival blue on here? and every one around here and in brooks seams to have arrival blue, when ever i talk to someone about getting a cobalt they say they are getting a arrival blue, its just the facts, blue and red are the top sellers, want some thing that is unique buy like orange, seams not alot of ppl are goin with that............

Yes, the Arrival Blue is popular this year but it's only for this year. Sunburst Orange will continue to be available. Also keep in mind that the 05MY cars are limited and the production year is shorter than normal, especially the SC version.

Arrival Blue is shared with the late model Cavaliers though.

There was a picture of an Amethyst Corvette posted earlier. A Google search shows that the Oldsmobile Bravada used Light Tarnished Silver. I found this picture:

Yah but it will still be rare in comparison to where you live...like i doubt you'll have 10 blue SS's in one town

 

Arrival blue will still be available through the fall of 2005. There will be some 2006 arrival blue cobalts.

An 06 SS S/C in arrival blue might be more rare than an 05 as they are only going to be producing that color for a few months or 06 production.

 

Now that i see the new colors i think i'll be waiting for a SS/SC til 06 i just wish they were offering it in stealth gray.
