2006 SS spotted today

It was a plant rep. near Lordstown. Car was 4 door, SS logo on back and sides, and new GM emblem on the sides. Color was that light purple new color. Wheels looked sharp - similar to SS/SC but smaller middles (maybe this will be the 06 SS/SC wheel?) Small spoiler on the back, large single exhaust with chrome tip like the SS/SC. Driver was flying down the highway! The car also had the new integrated antenna for XM and onstar. Too bad they can't integrate the radio antenna into this as well.

The car looked hot - sort of reminded me of a smaller version of a Cadillac STS with a spoiler.

Looks like we have to call Banshee on in here. What do you know about this Banshee?

It looked to me like the rear end was redesigned from the current sedan version. They took that funky look out of it and made it more proportional, and much sharper.

It looked like the car was running 17's at least, and I really liked the wheels better than the current SS wheel with the fatty middle hub.

Sorry I didn't have a camera and this guy was really shifty in traffic so I lost him somewhere in Kent. If I see the car I'll be all over it with pics.

'06 is an SC?

Just cuz they say "SS" doesn't necessarily mean Ss/Sc right? Just wondering. Seems kinda hokey to have a 4-door supercharged car if that 2006 SS was actually supercharged too.
