LSD is for g85 models...I thought it was standard in cobalt ss/sc but apparently not just like the redline.

It is not standard, it is an option. You have to make sure that the G85 is on the option list for the car or it doesn't have it.

Here's a better question...did they really make cobalt ss/sc's in burgundy? ******* lame.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW

Someone's gotta tell me if they just repainted it, or this was actually a production color.

I know of: Orange, Yellow, Red, Blue, Silver, and black. What other colors am I missing.

Production color - Sport Red Tintcoat. Best looking color Chevy's put on the SS/SCs since Arrival Blue IMO.

Yeah, there are definitely a lot of em out there, but it doesn't matter. That color is the only current production color I'd even consider if I were ordering right now.

You don't like the dark blue eh?

Better than that...electric blurple that had for a whole year.

For me it is Black(last car) Blue(my bike) or Silver(current car)...only three colors that exist in the Steddy Spectrum of Color.

Arrival Blue is the only blue I have liked on the Cobalt. HATE both the blurples they had and not a fan of the Imperial blue either.

I don't like black, silver, or white on cars. Just looks too plain for me. Red or yellow - it would depend. Yellow probably no. Red I like the Mazda red, but that's about it. Most colors outside those I can get behind, it just depends on the shade of the color.

Yes they have.

No.

LSD is not standard, or every SS would have it.

This color is one of the primary reasons I decided to buy a new car. I had been thinking about it for a while but when I found out they added this color for 07 I was done. Still not many in my area.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I answered this. LSD is not standard. You must have the G85 option package to have LSD.

Depends on the year. The 2005 and 2006 Cobalt SS/SC with G85 had LSD and Recaro seats. The 2007 Cobalt SS/SC with G85 has the LSD only. I believe the 2008 Cobalt SS/TC with G85 is the same as the 2007 and includes the LSD only.

It is not called the 'G85' option on the SS/TC

It simply states: Limited Slip Differential

O.o

Vin is on the driver's side...right under where an inspection sticker goes.

You would see it from the outside of the car though.
