2008 cobalt ss/sc SEDAN?
2008 cobalt ss/sc SEDAN?
I just got my sport compact car and it has a column saying "Look for a sedan version of the Chevrolet SS Supercharged to be available during 2008. This is to directly challenge the Mazdaspeed3 and four-door Honda Civic Si"
hmm... think they know something we don't or are they just going out on a limb?

of course people have 1000's of different ideas, I just thought it was wierd for it to be in this magazine, or any for that fact, cobalts don't seem to get much recognition. It doesn't seem like they would just make that up, especially about the cobalt. But you never know... maybe they got bored

There isn't even a supercharged coupe for 2008... why on earth would they release a 2008 sedan which is?
The release papers and trim level sheets for 2008 are already available. There is no SS/SC at all anymore. There isn't even a Cobalt SS at all anymore. The 2.4SS was renamed to Sport, and the SS/SC was deleted for 2008.
That printing is pure bullshit.

that would be the worst thing ever , and plus if there was an 08 sedan ss/sc then there would HAVE to be a 2 door ss/sc and i thought they 86ed the 08 ss/sc

I could be mistaken but if I remember correctly they had a 4 sedan Supercharged version because when I was looking for the 2 door coupe I could have sworn that there were 4 door sedan s/c cars. That was earlier on in 2006. Had a boost gauge and everything. Spedometer only went to 140 though. But like I said, I could be mistaken.

Dunno, but I heard from a few guys last night at a meet we had and one of them was saying they scrapped the Idea because of cost or demand because the SS S/C versions are not selling like they were in 06 and 05. I think it will just be a 2.4L SS. Plus, the 07s are slower and have the stupid low profile spoiler(most anyway)
this picture makes me think they WILL bring out the ss/sc sedan, the mazdaspeed 3 and civic Si sedan sell like hot cakes! there is a supercharged badge on the right corner, and this is suposed to be the 08 or 09 cobalt.
this car is real guys, that means theres a GREAT chance of it beeing made, cobalt Sedan SS/SC FTW!

I hope they do bring out a SC Sedan. I didn't like the Sedans at first; but after seeing the SS with the bodykit they came with. I changed my mind.
