2nd gear + nitrous = bawls for traction

if i try doing a 40 roll in 2nd gear with my nitrous on, the tires chirp quite a bit ... i know that for every chirp, its lost traction, meaning less ground covered in the same amount of time.

what should i do?

also, if people are going turbo even at only 350whp and 320tq.... how are THEY going to keep to the road?... maybe its because once the nitrous hits, it his hard and the power isnt as smooth... but still

...ahh the futility of fwd

do you have any traction, suspension or tire upgrades?

weird as you know i am on stock almost everything except my mods in my sig. i am on stock tires and they are almost on there way out (1 even has a bubble in the tire)

car i would say has maybe 20%-30% tred left and i don't spin my tires at all. weird

since u have no heater, ur pressure is sitting at only 800-900 psi...

i run it at 1050 for a nice kick...and to get my afrs to lean out a bit lol

ha...ya lol, it can get pretty hot out here...this morning it was nice, didnt get much higher than 95* iat2 in the beginning, until i sat in traffic for 15 mins... lol, but it felt so nice this morning ...off bottle of course...too early in the morning to be blowin my load

btw, if i go with 235 widths, does it make that much more traction compared to 225's of the same tire?

you can move your n2o nozzle futher away from the throttle body and it wont hit the tires as hard. this would stop the tires from spinning.you will still have the same power.

smart man. well said. pretty sure though ssdan's install he has it right after the filter on his cold air intake and he can still get the tires to chirp

thats why it didnt seem all that credible...the shot density is the shot density no matter where it is on your intake...moving it further from the TB should have no correlation w/ tire spin.

its my opinion that it wouldnt make a difference, unless anyone can give me facts that state otherwise...then more work

lol i wish i only chirped the tires , I ******* just sit there and bake them bitches (well that was the older tires, we shall see about the KDW's)

and cdbonar, no offense, but my buddy has KDW's on his car and he made 310 whp and he spins them like crazy, soo maybe your not making the power advertised lol

i think it was me...and i think he was kidding... like i said tho

i have meth and am tuned for it...also, i have more control over the spray...makes a world of difference ...i just need to find the happy spot in terms of pressure compared to what my tires and handle...ill scale it down a tad and see what happens
