If you really have $6K to drop, convert it to turbo... Build up the drivetrain too. You will be able to do this for $6K.

Do you wanna keep it supercharged? Tons of people are gonna come on here and say just turbo it because you will get more power which is true. But if you are like me, if I want a turbo car then I would just buy an LNF. So is this going to be your daily driver? What kind of power are you looking for? Those are things you have to consider. You could buy a Stage 3 kit from OTTP which is TVS, 80's and get a good tune. You will need supporting cooling mods. With 6k get a Griffen, dual pass and option B tank. Your prolly going to want to invest in a new clutch. With that your also going to want some gauges. I would say triple pillar from ZZP and wideband and interceptor. And of course get Upper Engine mount from TTR also there trans mounts...hope this helps

This **** has a dad that is a baller though. I wanted to be adopted by his parents and live in their house.

Seriously though, zzp turbo upgrade and call it a day.

First question though, what is your end goal for the car? 375whp, 400whp? 450+? Depending on your goals a TVS could even get you where you want to be.

This is all fail.
If 6 grand is what you want to spend go turbo and get a clutch. Then maybe some new tires cause you will need them

How is that fail? Honestly it's a Cobalt, I wouldn't put 6k into it. I would start with an LNF and be done. And I told him different options and asked what he was looking to do. Read what I said, I didn't tell him to go any certain way, I gave him his options like he asked. Someone already said go turbo so then I told him the route of keeping the supercharger which was correct. You my friend FAIL

y trade in a cobalt thats paid off on another cobalt to have payments. dump some money on a turbo kit that in the end will blow the doors off a lnf.

Turbo it. I wish sometimes I had bought a low mileage SS/SC and turboed it. You can make way more power in the long run on the LSJ engine in an SS/SC. It just depends on how deep your pockets are. Anything over 400whp and you're reaching your limits on an LSJ stock bottom end though.

No you still fail for even giving him an option to stay s/c when he wants power.
