Accident..HELP!

Yesterday I was hit by some moron who decided to go on the opposite side of the road to avoid traffic and hit me as I was making a turn. When he exchanged insurance I must have missed a number in his insurance # and now I cant find it on online. It must be some cheap ass company, because I cant find their number anywhere! He has Pheonix auto insurance, has anyone heard of this or know the number to reach them?

You should be dealing with your insurance. They will be the ones to go after his insurance, at least that's how it's always worked.

no the way it works is he tells his insurance company he was in an accident an to expect a call then you call his insurance company an they tell you to go get a quote...you meet with them tell them where your gettin it fixed they contact the place that is fixing it an pay it all through that place an give you a rental car

if the two cars are still driveable an noones sustained an injury then the police are not required to be reported an if you do then they will jus report the accident thats all

haha thanks guys, but yeah the cops did come and did a full report. Due to me being 21 and the guy was in his 50s the cop was being a jerk off the whole time to me, which made it hard to me to plead my case. The police report leans towards me but It just sucks the guys is being a dick and not answering his phone. I'm just going to have to fork out the 500$ deduc and get it fixed

Accidents are required to be reported to BOTH insurance companies - so both drivers must file a claim. It doesn't count against YOU, but your insurance handles the leg work for you, they go after the other company/driver for the damages when you're not at fault. If not, as soon as it's reported to his insurance, they will notify your insurance either way.

They should still be called. Lesson learned the hard way on that one - stupid Hispanic bitches who can't drive their hybrid SUVs then lie their asses off to avoid not getting dropped from insurance. If no one stops to be a witness, you NEED a police report to keep the scum of the world honest. /rant

Call your insurance with his information. They will go after him for the damages. That's what you pay them for. If you're not at fault, you have NO deductible to pay and it does not count in any way shape or form against your rates. The ***** deserves to pay since he was in the wrong, don't let a minor detail deter you from going after his insurance for the damage to the car.

Officer said it he was at fault. I even argued with him to give the guy a citation for going on the wrong side of the road, but didn't get it. I just got in contact with the guys insurance and am making the claim as we speak.

What on earth difference would it make to a police officer the age of the involved drivers when called to investigate a crash? Especially since you are the only one that has talked to them. Yours in the only infrmation they have.
The person proven at fault has to pay. If it is the other person's fault, you will not have to pay anything, no deductables, nothing. He pays it all. If you have to pay... well that says a little something ...
