>>>AEM Intake<<<<

So im looking at getting some intake off a member on the site and i dont really know much about it. Heres what he said:

It's the intake that replaces just the airbox, so it leaves th rest of the stock tubing on the intake, the only restriction on your intake is the actual airbox
it completely replaces the airbox, its a metal replacement piece and filter. its a CAI for a cobalt SS/SC, i bought it off ebay

Its an AEM brand just wondering if anyone else has the same thing, and what exactly its called so i can look it up. Hes asking $100 sound about right? Oh ya its for an SC

I have one , it's nice . It does exactly what he describes ... replaces the airbox and uses the rest of the stock tubing into the throttle body. Sound is great , and prolly makes the same HP gains as any of them. CAI's are mostly for looks or sound on these cars anyways . I've never had a CEL , but make sure to buy a hydroshield for the cotton "DRY FLOW" air filter , it will soak up water like a sponge. It's also kinda stealthy , no one would know you had it unless they tore apart the bottom splash guards .

I paid 100 buck for mine new off ebay because someone bought it and didn't like the fact it didn't have all metal replacement pipes like other CAI's.
