Aem Wideband Help...

ok i had my wideband installed yesterday and i think somethings wrong with the gauge casue all it does is jump around...and before you ask its not the tune cause its the stage 2...at idle it jumps from 13sumthing to 15sumthing and the samething when i'm cruising??? any ideas i bought the gauge new

thats fine your idle is supposed to be around 14.7 thats stoich *sp*. It will move around all the time

what he said...it should move around during driving,if it doesnt then its actually bad,but at idle 14.4-15.5 is where u want to be at..and WOT 11.2-11.5,but since ur s2 tune,ur gonna see under 11.2 due to tune being rich

yea but it never sits at any number at idle it goes from 13's to 15's

it will eventually settle down...it will go around,and after about 10 seconds or so,it will settle down to a normal idling AFR

you do know how a wideband works rite???

its going to ocoilate at anything under full WOT and even then it'll jump aorund a bit as your AFR changes with engine RPM

realllly considering getting one of these. did your DP come with the bung already in it? or did you have to get one welded in?

i dont know, i might be going out on a limb here. BUT when you installed the gauge did you install the wide band O2 sensor as well?

if all you did was hook an AFR gauge up to your factory O2 then its going to give you an LED "light show" so to speak.

i used the sunroof for the power and..i hooked up the o2 sensor for the wideband i have 3 sensors in my car right now

how easy is it for a muffler place to weld in a bung for the wideband?
