Aftermarket Seat Question

To anyone running aftermarket seats, Im replacing the gross grey stock seats and I came across a set of SS/SC seats with fairly low miles on em. theyre $600 for the front and rear. After this, I was talking to a friend of mine and his cousin has a heavily modded del sol with a set of racing buckets. Turns out he's sticking the stock seats back in and he'll just give me the seats. they're basically brand new black/yellow reclineable buckets(not sure what company). So finally, my question is, how could I go about dealing with the airbag sensor? would I have to have it tuned permanently on or off? or could I make it work on the new seats? also, which would you guys choose? I like the black ss seats but $0 is a pretty good deal for a set of seats lol. thanks in advance

I would get SS/TC seats if you can find them.

If you cant, Id go with SS/SC seats.

I went to summit racing the other day and there racing seats were just as if not more comfortable then my ss/sc seats.

I just dont think racing seats belong in a cobalt unless your at the track all the time and have alottt of HP.

Wow, that sucks. So either buy the SS nows, or take a chance on the racing seats, without being able to sit in them. Shitty place to be in. Idk, I love my SS seats, I think they are comfortable, and I wouldn't give them up for a racing seat, but thats me.

Buy racing seats, swap rails from stock seats. Done.

If I give you $1000 would you go screw 5 cows, and 2 roosters?

My point is your statement says you would set aside comfort to save a couple bucks?
