Angry Aghhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy I'm in a pickle...... Just found out today my SS/sc has gone 3300 code, so it looks like it WILL be built either this week or next week. Scheduled delivery is the 25th of this month. Now to throw a twist to it.... I have a deal for a fully loaded Mazda 6s (220hp 6 cylinder) for $22,000, and the blue one can be here Saturday. What to do, What to do. Found out their is a red SS/sc that just go delivered today to a Chevy dealer up the street from my office. Oh this is sooooo frustrating. I have driven the 6s yesterday.... and going to drive the SS/sc tonight. The decision would have been sooo much easier if the SS/sc was still a 3000 code. Don't know what I'm going to do..... maybe just do myself in so I would not have to make the decision (jk) (because I'll always have in the back of my mind that I might have made the wrong one)

Dude, having the dilema of which brand new car to get is one that many people would love to have.

My friend has a mazda 6 and aparently the fit and finish went to hell in a few months. Maybe he just got a lemon though... Its a nice lookin car.

Well Just got a call back from the Mazda dealer...... it 6:20 right now and they are going to call me back at 6:45 to let me know if they will accept my offer of $21,000. It's looking as if it's going to happen, funny though since they will be make almost nothing on the car since I get the Ford supplier discount. BUT I will drive the SS before that, leaving in 10 minutes to go do it.

Well I bought the Mazda 6s. $21,391 is over $800 under invoice. I even went and drove the SS/sc. SS/sc is very nice to drive, BUT here are a couple problems I had with it. I am 6'-3" tall, and the car does not have evough head hight for me. Even thought the numbers show that the car has more head height than the Cav, when I got in it had less clearence then the Cav. When I was driving it my head was bouncing off the ceiling. The wing is big, but I do not think it obstructs the view too bad. The finish on the interior is nice to the look, but bad to the touch. The trunk opening make the trunk useless. YES, it really needs the armrest. The overall fuction of the interior is not designed for a true daily driver, good for short drives. I like the Recaro seats MUCH better than the stock ones, the recaros hold you much better. Oh and lets talk about the back seat, or the lack of one. The back seat is for insurance only, unless you plan on putting some one that is 3'-0" tall in the back (no, and I mean no leg room). These are my perception of the car, just does not meet the needs I need in a car now, maybe 6 months ago. Don't get me wrong, Very nice car, you need to be less than 6'-0" tall for it, and have no kids. One other thing as for after market parts.... I do think you will get much increase in performance from a header. The exhaust manifold is really short, about 6"-8" long to the single pipe and it's pretty straight to the single pipe. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the SS/sc, and I will still keep post here, and keep up to date with the SS developement (the car has much potential) Hopefully by this weekend I'll have pics of the blue 6s I got.

Oh one other thing. My SS will be in on the 25th of May. So if anyone is interested I can forward the dealer info on. The car is Black with sunroof, XM, side aircurtains, and the G85 package. I don't have the numbers infront of me right now, but I think it came out to about $22,500-$23,000, invoice + $49. It will be unknown if the car qualifies for the free sunroof and XM deal untill it's made. So if your intrested is comming to Cincinnati, just PM me and I'll give you the info

Did you use the lever on the side of the seat to lower it to the max? Also I had two adults in my back seat on saturday and they were both over 3' and one is heavy to boot. Besides I buy a coupe to discourage back seat riders.
Hope you enjoy your 6 as they are nice looking.

I'm 6'2" and I thought there was not much head room either, then I realized there was a handle that jacks your seat up and down. Once I put the seat down I had plenty of room!
