All state sucks!

I got rear ended by this idiot a while ago and he was ticketed...so i went through is shitty allstate insurance and they said i could geta rental car. My car was droped off at the auto body shop fri so it wasent my fault they dont work on weekends. Anyway it took a total of 8 days to fix my car and $320 outa my own pocket for a rental and they only gave me $50 outa that back for reinbursment. I faught it all the way up to the top lady and she wouldent refund me...

thats messed up. I have Allstate and the person who hit me did too. They paid for the car upfront. I never paid a dime. They got enterprise and had them pick me up and everything. They gave it to me for limited time but everytime my car wasnt doen I jsut called and they extended it. However I had to swap my car a few times. I drove a Kia, Mazada 6, A Lancer and then a Malibu The Kia sucked

Your back suddenly went into ungoddly painful muscle spasms and your dr has said its a result of the accident where thier insured hit you. Now you get an ambulance chasing lawyer and sick him on Allstate for all you can get! Just be careful they don't take pics of you goofing off.

Seriously when you get hit they should pay everything 100% if not thats what lawyers are for. NEVER go it alone with those crooks cause they'll **** you as soon as look at you and smile while they do it.

Well duh... you should have looked at the rental voucher and seen how many days the insurance was going to cover a rental car for.

I was rear ended at the end of August, when I settled with my insurance company, I was given a rental voucher for 3 days, the time quoted on the Body Shop's estimate. My parts came in on a friday as well, but I knew better than to take the car to them on that friday and let it sit over the weekend. I took the car in the next Monday, left it for 3 days, and had it done promptly while I had a rental car.

You are responcible for taking your car in at a time where the repairs can be completed. The fact that the shop is not going to be open over a weekend will not factor into your insurance company's rental policy. That would be much like dropping your car off right after the accident and expecting the insurance company to cover you a rental for the whole time. Not happening.

So don't go blaming your insurance co. and getting all pissed off b/c you didn't read the fine print. I can't believe you actually expected them to cover your rental over a weekend.
I'll agree that it does suck to pay that much out of pocket after the fact... b/c it wasn't your fault at all, and there wasn't anything you could do to prevent it. But, that's the way it goes.

Thus... is why I made sure that I got the GMPP exhaust put on when I got rear ended... all covered by insurance. Sure, my stock exhaust wasn't really damaged by the collision, but with the rear bumper and lip written off, you would expect it to be shot as well, no? I knew all the bullshit and red tape I would be going through in getting my car repaired, so I made damn sure that I would get something out of the whole ordeal.

Perhaps you should have done the same...

thats that agency not the company. each one is independently owned and operated. my aunt owns a state farm in corpus christi. she sets her own rules, but they do have company policies too
