Im planning a cobalt meet in carroll county so everyone can show off the hard work they've done on their balts and i wanna see how many people would be interested and if anyone knows where a good spot would be to have it.
wow that was weird! I randomly decided to look in "General Cobalt" and saw this. I'm in woodbine which is literally right next to you (as I'm sure you already know). I think you might have better luck posting in the Regional section although I never look there personally. I'm thinking Eldersburg would be an okay place to hold one and I know people with other cars that would most likely come out. They hold a car show at the Home Depot every other weekend but it's mostly muscle cars and hot rods and I would feel pretty gay parking next to a tubbed '69 camaro running 9's...so maybe we can do it on the day they aren't lol.

There are two car meets that take place weekly in Eldersburg if the weather is nice.
Every Saturday night there is a meet at the Home Depot parking lot. Cars start rolling in around 5 ish and hang out until 9 or so. This is the biggest meet by far usually drawing 40+ cars.
The other car meet happens on Wednesday at the Snowball stand on Carroll Town Mall parking lot. It's right at the corner of Ridge Road and Rt 26. They usually start showing up around 6. Small turn out, about a dozen or so but nice cars.
Don't drive like a fool at either of these events because the MSP are all over the place and the older crowd hates when people drive like a fool and draw the wrong kind of attention to the meets.

I have a silver SS/TC with a high wing. They're talking about Cruise Week in OC. By far the most fun I've ever had there but I can't go this year. You aren't the guy I was talking to at auto zone were you?
^^and he's exactly right about the shows. There's also one next to Food Lion and McDonalds in the Woodbine/Lisbon area

lol that lisbon one isnt a car show hahahahah like four kids get together and chill by theres cars but that it lol and yes i talked to you at advance auto lol
very true lol. I just ride by there sometimes and see a few people there. There was a legit one there a long time ago that I went to though. I think Eburg area would be best if we have people coming from westmonster and baltimore. I know there's a black TC in westminster right by 97 and 32 but I don't know if he's on here. Black with tinted taillights. And I have 2 friends with TC's but I doubt they'll come out. Well if my one friend does he's more likely to bring his Camaro. And maybe I can get my buddy to bring his 1100hp mustang out.
This is how the Pep Boys meet usually is. No one ever comes to you and starts a conversation. When we try to go and talk to people, they just ignore us. They're ********.
But the OC meet is awesome! Everyone is really cool, open, friendly. Seriously, everyone I met up there last year, we still know each other by first name and talk frequently.

i can always find car shows for all cars! i wanna go to a car show with all cobalts! there is a black ss with red end caps on his wing that rolls around lisbon. im at that gym all the time you'll probably see my balt up there
Hell yeah! Like 25 of us last year. Trying to be bigger this year. Brian (one of 3 that were there last year) doesn't have his Balt anymore, he's bringing his Scion T/C and maybe his Turbo Talon.. BUT other than that.... ALL BALTS! Check out my images for pics of last year.
I can't believe you've never been to cruise week! It's huge, there's meets/shows for every make, model, year and all kinds of crap up there haha. Not really but you get the idea. I've seen a black TC with red accents in eldersburg a couple times too. There's also a silver TC I think around the lisbon area that's gotten on 70 with me a few times. Like I said though, I don't know if any of them are on here...
Hooters. Look up the thread! https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/north-east-56/ocean-city-md-meet-3-a-196756/
just kidding about cruise week...that's this week(end). Has anyone thought more about a good location and date? I don't know if you want to include other cars, but I know others that will more than likely come out...
