Do a search.... yes people have gotten them

 

People have gotten them, and were offered little for their cars. There was a guy with a 2.2 who tried it, if I remember correctly they offered him 9k for it.

 

my dad said go in there and tell them you want a ss/sc for the same price as a ss/na. i have a regular ss now so i'd be all over that. lol

 

Its one big scam well they do want your cars but wont give $hit for them

 

I wouldn't say it is a scam. They use those types of promo's to help get people in when sales are slow and they dont have any rebates availible. They usually will give you more for your then they normally would. Maybe like $500-$1000 more. So it allows people to buy cars at a great price even with out rebates. Then when they have rebates they will give you what your would normally get for a trade.

 

sales must be slow. they are just trying to get you in the door, so they can bang you over the head and get more money out of you.

 

Interest rates on used cars are also higher right now. They may make more money off of a GM certified used '06 SS with a %7 rate than they would selling a 07 SS brand new with %0 apr for 36 months. Just a thought, I could be completly wrong, and even if I am wrong, you still get to stare at my sig
