Anyone else?

Anyone have this same issue as me? I have me tail lights all the way tinted(like even the white reverse part tinted over) and I always get people that pull up along side of me and say "you have no tail lights!!" When I obviously have my outter lights that work just fine. I usually just say "Those are reverse lights.". So anyone else with the inner tail lights tinted all the way get this? Or is it just me?

They are LED so they aren't as noticeable as the normal lights but I can clearly see them.

Here are some night shots for comparison.

Without brake

even far away

With brake

far away again with brake

See from the pics you can clearly see the lights? IDK what's up with people lol

That's the thing I have only had people in other cars say this to me. I drive at night all the time too.

Tinted tails are straight dangerous during the day though. Unless its a very light latlyer, if the sun is facing the rear of ur car it becomes very hard to tell when you're braking so... Prepare your anus

I'll try. It isn't the easiest taking pix all by yourself. Especially of the car braking lol.

I think people think that the Cobalt has 2 running lights (inner and outter) and maybe they're trying to warn you that the inner lights are not working (not knowing they are just reverse lights) I mean, even myself before I bought it I thought it had both rings light up inner/outer but then I realized the inner is red around for looks/decoration but it's just a reverse light lol.

Get the retro K2's, put an LED ring in the inner lights splice wires into running/brake/blinkers and you'll see how people stop complaining

I have a 4 door so I only have the two lights and they are straight black but the light shines through good, I've had countless cops drive behind me and nobody is yet to say anything to me about them

that's what I also believe is happening. Thus why in my first post I put that usually when they say that I just say "those are reverse lights"
