the one that's really gonna cause drama is the 06+ malibu SS. the wheel in it is the same as the 07+ balt SS.... but it has the SS detail while the balt does not. i imagine you could swap it... prolly just glued on.

the center cap... no you cant... that piece is seriously attached deep into that wheel, just like ours is. you would have to replace the whole steering wheel to get that.

This has been discussed in detail a few times before... we've even had some engineers that designed the wheel/airbag comment on it.

In short... don't screw with the steering wheel... that emblem is attached so that it will not come off during airbag deployment. You can remove it... but you won't be able to reattach anything else right. And anything you put on there might come off and injure you if you crash.

Also, the SS emblem on the Impala's wheel is too big... it won't fit anyways.

look in the vendor section under them and youll see they are making it for out STEERING wheel out of the same material that wont injure you if the airbag deploys

Looks like all you really need to do if everyone wants it so bad is buy that airbag assembly and have a pro install it. But thats a LOT of work

P.s. never mess with airbags, they're freakin scary!
