I rarely have it down in city driving, but I put stuff in it and it's nice for long drives, so why get rid of it.

 

I just put one in mine and love it. Shorten my shifter and just got to flick the wrist to change gears. Very comfortable and the wifey likes it too.

 

ss/sc does not come with an armrest from factory. So, get out of your 2.4 and get an ss/sc. /thread.

just yankin your chain a little... Never had an armrest myself. Rented an hhr 2.2 with it, but didn't have any complaints about it.

 

just wanted to see what answer you'd come up with. mine didnt come from the factory with one, however the dealer installed it as soon as they got it(about 6 months before i bought it)

 

well I know 05 and 06 didn't come with one for a fact. Most of the sc's in my crew are 05 and 06 which is how I know this. 07's I don't know what exactly was changed up on them, so I don't want to say anything about them

 

why couldnt GM just give us the damn 90 dollar armrest!!!! is it to much to ask

 

i love my arm rest. idk how i went without one. and i def recommend redline goods armrest cover.

i dont know how or why they ever made the SS without an armrest. I LOVE it. It never gets in the way of shifting..ever. Best money i've spent on the balt

 

You're not the only one. I hated it. I only used it while I was cruising on the highway or something.

 

First mod I did was the HID's and a armrest although it does rub the seats it is great on that 35 mile ride on the highway to and from work since I never move the seats the rubbing isn't a real issue. I thing gm should have made the seats a little thinner and added armrest to all the SC and TC cobalts.
