I am taking a long trip 11 hours 1 way coming up. And I was curious if it is possible to use the Laptop into the USB / Aux input at all?

Would the headphone out work into the Aux? It's a Asus G71 Laptop.

usb will only accept a fat32 based drive or ipod, sooo unless your laptop does that which I assume no...No for usb.

You will need to use headphone out on your laptop and plug that into the aux in, 3.5mm plugs.

Or just go pick up an 8 GB USB flash drive. I've got a 4 GB in there now and the radio handles it fine.

I had two friends go on a roadtrip with me once. They had a portable DVD player with them and just plugged the player into the aux jack on the radio. They said it felt like they had surround sound complete with rumble and everything.

aux yes, usb no. unless you get those USB to USB cables for between computer connections (with a bridge in the middle of the cable). but even then it might not recognize it
