Automatic tranny cooler allow more power?

Since i will have a tranny cooler installed on my cobalt 2.4 with the garrett turbo kit i was originally thinking that i would shoot for 250 at the wheels but that was on a stock cooling system, just wondering how much power you think i could lay down safely on the transmission with another tranny cooler maybe 10 more hp or 20 even?

A transmission cooler will not increase horsepower output at all. It will save your trannys life and keep it cooler under the high temperatures you will be putting it through with your increased hp from the turbo

i know that it wont increase power on its own. im wondering how much more power i will be safely able to run thru the tranny with the addition of the cooler. sorry if my question was confusing.

Well, whatever your transmission is rated at is what you can put down. A cooler won't allow you to put down more than your tranny is rated for. It will just prevent it from exploding from heat... lol
