rear brakes have been an issue with most gm cars for a very long time.

I HAVE MY CUPHOLDER INSERTS IN MY 06. SUCK MY DICK '07+ lolol

i hate that the passenger side of the front bumper doesnt line up with the headlight. there is a gap, and of course one of the holes on the headlight broke so my passenger headlight sags like 1/4 of an inch. after removing the dash trim to paint it, cause all the silver chipped. now the plastic is like loose cause the clips were bent to remove them.

buy hey, i got the car (1st car) for $4k. if it wasnt so cheap i still wouldnt have a car and my life would be very complicated.

if you think those are bad, take a trip over to the Ford Dept. Or work on a TT Steath R/T, it pays 4.6 hrs to replace 6 spark plugs.

you guys are aware that fitment issues such as doors and hoods are adjustible, right??

Don't get me started my passenger door won't open sometimes my trunk lock dose not even match my key and I bought mine brand new. That's what I get for not checking for flaws. It was dark and it was my first car so I have learned my lesson

Nobody paid $26k for an SS/SC off the factory lot. My guess is there was some negative equity rolled into that loan from a trade-in. And you can't claim that a car that had 18k miles of god-knows-what done to it and was since garage kept to be "garage stored with no winters".

From the sounds of it (I have the same year, same color), your car was abused for the first 18k miles of its life. The only exterior issue that I have with mine is that my front bumper is all pitted to hell from rock chips. My paint is still 99% perfect save for a few more rock chips.

Interior issues are a bit more common: Ticking HVAC fan, occasionally squeaky sunroof (used to be a lot worse, but it worked itself out  ), had paint chipping from my driver's door bezel from my watch and that's it.

wow someone actually agrees with me. This car is a 20-22k car. 25-26k? wtf were they thinking? the competition crushes this car at that mark.

I hate the fact that I have to move the arm rest or reach around it to put on the E-brake. and as many of you have said, trying to put the head lights back in, its a pain sometimes!

and how you have to open that little door to hit the trunk button. its not really a big deal but still.... lol

we paid 26k for both of ours, and have no problem with that. (even financed 28k for one with stage 2) We love the one we still have And have gotten our moneys worth.

The only Design flaw we have had is the Sunroof button trim.

bumpers line up like ****
bumpers colors are off with the rest of car stock
e-brake handle
sunroof rattles
intercooler catch can design (Rips off)
steering clunk (which is supposidly ok under warranty its in spec)
slow windows (Warrantied still the same just like alot of gm vehicles though)

stock system isnt worth a **** or atleast radio needs a equalizer for speakers to sub.. if you ever turn the bass up there goes your door speakers

besides that great for what it is being a econo car with SS badges and alot more.. its comfy and i dont think its bad when compared in price range they are all **** pretty much... i buy and sell cars (family dealership)

i had my car for 4 months before i realized that was there. i was cleaning out the change i keep in there and i actually was eye level with it and noticed "hey wtf does this do?" and my trunk popped!

...QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVED!

yeah, AC... it comes out like a wind tunnel from the middle 2, and weak as **** from the 2 closest to the window. i mean the car is cold but it feels so weird to have hardcore wind on my right cheek and my left cheek is like wtf i want a ******* too.

im not a fan of the trunk light and the license plate light, i put led's in them but because of the angle/positioning its still not that bright.... i took down the trunk light thing and pointed it downward and now the led lights up everything so nice, but with the palstic thing clipped in to the top of the trunk... trunk is dim as ****.

windows are slow as ****. especially when opening/closing 2 at once.

overall i still like the car. it doesnt feel too sophisticated and classey, feels like a kiddy entry-level sports car - which is what it is! u can have fun and mod it on your own without having to worry about getting it a little messy. i like being able to customize it on my own because of its flaws, if i had another car i would probably still have it looking completely stock + tints.

Paying 11K, i cant really complain to much. I knew what i was buying...it was a friggen cobalt. I bought it because it fit my requirements:

Quick
modable
cheap
plenty of parts
